P.S. (before the Walking Dead comes on!)

Chris gave a talk at our church today about his "faith journey". Our pastor has asked members of the congregation to share their faith stories with us on Sundays.
It was a very heartfelt speech that he chose to share. He began with his mother and their relationship with their first church and then threw me a curve by starting to talk about the other thing that let him to church: his ex-girlfriend!!!!! At first I thought Hey Where is this going!!!!!! He's talking about someone other than me! BUT he brought up one of his old favorite songs- Unanswered Prayers by Garth Brooks and told and said how he used to pray that he would have a long life with that person but his prayers went  unanswered and she broke up with him! (Gasp!) But this was the path that let him to me and to our family eventually.
He also said how we both prayed for children and when our prayers seemed to be unanswered they were later answered with Joy and Gracie.
I guess what I want to say is that I know marriage isn't an easy journey and I am not an easy person to live with sometimes but I wouldn't want to be on this journey with anyone else.
